KK Care is combined facility of two caregiving facility off KK Tex - healthcare and child care. The simple program of a site clinic and daycare posed an interesting challange of placelessness. The initial program of placing the program with the gate house was rejected bu us - due to its proximity to the Highway. The triangular site that was finally chosen used to be an assembly area, and a rare piece of green respite among a dense industrial development. The design preserves the green and it’s assembly function and tucks in the program by lifting up a corner of the triangle. The resulting design is a unique combination of landscape, public space and beautifully crafted spaces for caregiving.
